Elisa & Paul
The more wedding commissions I shoot the more I like non-destination, relaxed gatherings where the emphasis is on friends/family having a great time. I first met Elisa and Paul last Nov in London and we were immediately on the same page with ideas and approach. They are a terrific couple and were very generous with me, right from the start establishing that ‘known you for years’ feel to our various chats and meetings. Working with them from start to finish was a genuine pleasure.
After a service in Warnham church in West Sussex the reception was at the family home nearby. The gorgeous property offered enough space for the drinks reception on the front lawn, with the marquee next to the house housing the dining area and ‘chill out’ zone – no traditional wedding breakfast, they had a classy afternoon tea. Effortless, comfortable, personal and very memorable, it’s one of my favourite shoots of the year. Here are some notable moments :
